Statement: Women who experience menstruation are not able to obtain free feminine products in public spaces because society as a whole does not believe there is value in providing free feminine products.

Tamy Faierman, 50, my mom	I experience this. Women who can afford it, and especially those who can’t.	I have experienced free feminine products in restrooms at fancy events, nowhere public.	I think it’s a necessity because there are underprivileged communities that may not have access to them or be able to afford them.”
Natu Tweh, 20, student at UF	Because he’s not a woman, it doesn’t directly affect him. It affects all women.	I have never come across free feminine products. However, I have seen feminine products in restrooms that you have to pay 0.50 cents for.	“I think it’s necessary. Not providing this would be detrimental to women who can’t afford it. I also think it’s important for hygiene purposes.”
Mariana Payeras, 20, student at Santa Fe	It applies to me because I am woman. I wish free feminine hygiene products were available because I would save a lot of money.	No, I haven’t.	Definitely a necessity.
Jessica Kian, 20, student at UF	I experience this. Every woman does.	Nope.	I believe that it’s a necessity because every woman should have this convenience.
Rachael Tonietto, 22, student at UF	I definitely experience it. Every woman who is on their period has this need.	Never.	It’s a necessity. Condoms are often given out for free. Why not pads and tampons too?

Summary: Every person I interviewed, including one male, answered that they felt free feminine products are a necessity. Even one man felt that providing this would help women who are suffering on their period.

Reflection: I didn’t learn anything I didn’t know. However, I was surprised that every person I interviewed felt that having free pads and tampons provided would be great.
