Assignment 11A

1)    You. I’m from South Florida. I’m the oldest of five children and I am studying art and advertising at the University of Florida with a minor in Innovation. My experiences have led me to have good people skills and have made me a neater and more organized person. My aspirations are to have my own book of poetry one day, to create a logo for an important company, and to get back into playing the piano. I see this business playing an important part in my life as well as the lives of many other women.

2)    What are you offering to customers? I am offering free feminine hygiene products for women in public spaces. This will be beneficial because many women can’t afford feminine hygiene products and need this service.

3)    Who are you offering it to? I am offering this to any woman who experiences her period, however, I hope that homeless women take the most advantage of this opportunity.

4)    Why do they care? My target audience cares because, who doesn’t like free things? Especially when it’s essential to hygiene!

5)    What are your core competencies? I am passionate about the arts, and I put my all into anything regarding that. I love to work on graphic design logos and am great at organization.

Although I get uncomfortable talking about myself, it’s important to “brag” when it comes to recognizing my strengths. It’s especially important for me to talk about my strengths when I apply for jobs or if I am ever making my own company. My weaker points have to do with taking criticism or constructive feedback from others. While I know that listening to feedback is important, I can get defensive. I work on this fault on a daily basis.
